3. That was really gross!
There is a such thing as TOO flexible (even in ballet...). I find hyper-flexibility ugly on stage.

I think the comments are right--this video looks like something made for a fetishist! :scared:

5. ya think?
Why do you think I watched it with more concentration than I'm watched anything ever... ok, the backwards knee thing was a little gross, but apart from that, it basically drove me completely crazy.

13. Yeah, but in practice it's not much different than a normal person..
Some things look more interesting than they feel...

19. well, yeah...
and I know from experience that some things feel pretty different from others. Hell, it at least sparks the imagination - that's what's captivating about it.

6. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT WOMAN'S KNEES??????
:gasp:

Some of that is amazing (and I LOVE me the Odile shoes near the end). The knee thing is a little, well, gross.

8. She is so amazing.
I wish my body had held up that long. About the time we have the maturity to really bring it role-wise, so many of us have fallen apart.

It's nice to know that she's still pushing the art forward, is holding up physically, and is ravishingly beautiful to boot. :loveya:

12. She is perfect.
That's why she's not one of my faves. I actually don't stay transfixed watching her, because it's 100% perfect 100% of the time! But she is lovely.

14. Yeah, I don't know how stretching knees like that is a benefit.
I mean, they're already SUPER hyperextended. Pushing it even more can only result in bad things!
