I saw the very epitome of cinematic perfection this weekend.

I went and saw "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" with some buddies this past weekend. I must say, it was the best movie I have ever seen. I knew the movie would be good when I saw an amazing trailer for it a few months ago. The story is amazing, the acting so perfect that the actors are not acting, they ARE the characters. The music is awesome. The mixture of laughs, cries, suspense, happiness, sadness are entwined perfectly.

The movie was perfect. I forgot I was watching a movie. I felt like I was actually witnessing the events as they transpired. The movie was almost 3 hours long, but it wasn't long. In fact, I wouldn't have minded an extra hour or two.

All of this came from a 5 page F Scott Fitzgerald short story. This movie will run away with every award this season.

Simply put, this is the best movie made, maybe ever.

2. Not yet,
but I totally will after reading your post. We were going to do a total movie weekend, but we got caught up with plumbing problems. That movie is first on my list.
