Has anyone seen the film "Man on Wire"?
I'm getting into docs pretty heavily and it looks great to me. Plus, I remember it as kid. Reviews? Thoughts?

1. I just watched the trailer on YouTube last night.
It was named on At The Movies as one of the best films/documentaries of the year. BUT I HATE HEIGHTS! It knots my stomach just to think about what he did.

2. No kidding. Just the whole caper style planning to pull it off
is amazing enough, i.e. security, people on two buildings, hours of set up. But the pivotal act, yeah, is hard to even imagine.

3. There have got to be incredible wind currents up there.
But even without that. I went onto the roof of a 33 story building in Chicago where I worked on a really nice day to take some pictures. We were across the street from an 80 story building. I had dreams of falling for over a year, and I never went within 25 feet of the edge.

6. Yeah - it's really impressive
The whole caper thing was great and the way they made the documentary played up that tension but the image of him on the wire still makes my hands sweat.

7. Fantastic!
Even though it's a documentary, there is suspense and drama in the way the caper was planned and executed. The movie is very well done.

I give it five stars.
