Jesus H...I could fill a phone book with all of them. No wonder it takes me forever to get anything done.

10. those password rules are stupid and counterproductive
because they make more people write them down on sticky notes and leave them under their keyboards, which defeats the whole purpose of having passwords

15. Isn't that amazing?
The place I used to work had the same requirement, which is why half my co-workers wrote the new ones down and placed them somewhere near their computers (and most of the other half had to repeatedly call IT to reset their computers since they'd forgotten their passwords). Like that's increasing security!

I came up with a system that worked pretty well for me, which involved leaving obscure password hints in a place that only I could access easily. But it sure was a royal pain.

11. I use RoboForm and I couldn't live without it!
I have about 170 passwords saved on RoboForm. I agree about the ones that need special symbols being a pain in the butt. RoboForm can also save your private information, including credit cards. It allows me to just click one button, and it fills in name, address, and credit card fields, including the little 3-digit code. And, yeah, RoboForm has its own password, but that would be the only one you would need to remember.

Don't you realize we're all disorganized drama queens and wish to remain that way? We love bitching about NOTHING.

14. I hate when they have such specific "rules" for passwords to follow...
to the point that anything you create is nothing that one could feasibly remember.

21. I totally hear ya
If my name is Ramona H. Quimby, potential usernames are

RQuimby
RHQuimby
RamonaHQuimby
RamonaQuimby
Ramona Quimby

and XemaSab.

Then there's my PIN number, my short password, my medium password, my long password, and my password with extra numbers and exclamation points. And about three others. :banghead:

This leaves 34 different combinations if I want to log into an account. :banghead:
