I lost my job last year due to medical issues, disability insurer is going to be playing hardball soon, my brother developed liver cancer, his chemo is hell, yesterday was one of the worst days I can remember, due to I don't know what.

On the upside, there is Maureen. Her kids fluctuate from "tolerate to like" me.

We had 10 days for Christmas at her farm, with her parents visiting from the Prairies. Her Mum asked if we were thinking of getting married. LOL.

On balance, people tell me I'm happier than I have been in many years and I can't disagree.

The parents told me they haven't seen Maureen happier in many years. TMI? Maybe. Ain't life and love grand.
