Every time I hear the "Star Spangled Banner"
(the Orange Bowl just started) I think about the fact that my cousin killed Francis Scott Key's son Barton, and got off with murder pleading temporary insanity.

4. He took his mistress to Europe
and was outraged when his young wife found comfort in the arms of Barton Key. Go figure!?

6. I have letters he sent my great-grandparents
when my grandfather was born. Two sentences congratulating them on the birth of their son and the rest of the letter (pages) about himself. He was something... Lived into his 90's.
