My web stalker is whining to Skinner and Elad!
Dear Sir: if you follow the link below (which is to your site) you will find an attack from one of your members (Peter Sullivan) on my restaurant. I am a columnist for a local newspaper and have been critical of Mr. Sullivan, from time to time. Mr. Sullivan has admitted that he is a manic depressant. He is an elected official in Manchester NH. and although elected and very critical of others, does not like it when people call him on his votes. I also happen to be in the district he represents. I supported O'bama over Hillary Clinton (note: he had a Romney sign in his window last winter). On one particular day Obama came to Manchester and gave a speech down the street from my restaurant. After it was over the place was packed. Sullivan walked by and saw all the people in my restaurant and wasn't happy about it and put up this awful post. I need to make money to pay the taxes that these elected officials keep raising, but the same guy who is raising my taxes is now attacking the place that pays the taxes? He is trying to run my business out of town. If it was a attack on me that's fine, but now my business too? Please do something about this. I don't think you guys put up a site to let nut jobs attack people small business owners. Thank you. Joe kelly

2. "Manic DEPRESSANT?" That right there tells me something about your stalker.
Obsessive son of a bitch, isn't he? Good luck to you in fending him off; something tells me that isn't going to be easy for you to do.

3. can you say
"legal counsel"?

If he had a leg to stand on, he'd have one. However, I suggest you get one asap.

Either that or just ignore the ijut completely and totally as beneath your notice, time, and energy.

34. Hey, you! Believe it or not, I've been having dreams recently about
a Pudge's cheesesteak hoagie. (I've not been well lately and have not been eating much, thus the food dreams).

How's everything been going for you, down there in my old stomping grounds? Well, I hope.

You're never going to believe this, but I've never had a Pudge's Cheesesteak.

I could eat a mushroom cheesesteak with provolone every day of the year, but I'm not sure they're all that healthy....

9. That's my notation
He claims to have supported "O'bama", but he didn't. He's a right-winger who bashes Obama and Biden on his cable show every week. He had a Romney sign in his storefron last winter, and on the set of his television show.

13. The sad part? He has two graduate degrees.
He has a law degree from the Mass. School of Law and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.

He's not stupid; in fact he's actually quite intelligent. Unfortunately, we can see that something else isn't quite right.

20. He seems to be easy to find on the web.
For an educated guy, he isn't very smart.

We have one just like him in my town, he goes to every meeting, right down to the committee hearings for the most trivial of matters. He contests every single expenditure, no matter how small. Gets involved with zoning variances with people that don't live anywhere near him, or will it impact his property in any way. He tries to contest every variance.

Makes rambling speeches at every council meeting that most people just shake their heads at, because no one can understand the points he tries to make.

Perennial candidate for either mayor or council, and gets votes in the single digits in a city of thirty-seven thousand.

Got thrown out more than once for making the matter personal with certain council members, for no real reason.

Smart guy, but he can't hold a job. Always seems to get fired for one reason or another, then sues the former employer. Now no one will hire him.

His wife earns the pay in the family. I worked with her, real nice lady, and my son pals around with their son, smart kid, school teacher.

Oh, yeah, he also has a local-access cable show. I don't have enough tinfoil to watch it.

24. Teachers need to grade on grammar, not just content
I remember telling students this when I was assigning research essays for one of my professors. I said I grade on grammar because to express a good idea requires expressing it well and clearly.

16. My guess is that Facebook is his next stop
He's been trolling around DU and Blue Hampshire, so he's bound to go to Facebook.

I can't wait to see him make heads or tails out of my friends list, which includes an astronaut, reality show producer, political columnists, a few mayors, a former state treasurer from down south, the dean of the University of Arkansas law school, a whole gaggle of Republican and Democratic state reps and senators, my junior high school crush, and enough Arkansas lawyers to defend Mike Huckabee from any conceivable scandal that may arise.

19. Who knows
He loves to yell and scream. At this point, I figure Skinner could use a laugh, so why ruin the fun.

What set him off was a post I made months ago asking Obama volunteers not to get lunch at his sub shop, which was located not far from the Obama HQ in Manchester.

It's funny that the restaurant part is all he's complaining about - your post is a pretty far-ranging beat down, and I'd think he could find a few other parts to get cranky about...

31. That's the post
It was x-posted in the Mass and NH forums because a lot of folks from Boston were coming up to help on the campaign.

It's funny, isn't it? I basically point out that he's the political equivalent of Olive Garden's Cornflake Chicken and Kudzu Lasagna, but he gets in a twist about the restaurant.

Of course, everything else has been documented in the press, so he really doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Also, "has admitted that he's a manic depressant" like being bi-polar is a crime one should admit to.

35. My first thought on reading this was "He runs a restaurant AND writes a newspaper column?!"
"Where does he find the time???"

That is, everyone I've ever known (or worked for) that ran a restaurant or bakery had no life outside of that business. Now that I've read the whole thread, I figure he's the "forever absent" restaurant owner, or the worst kind of owner to work for. There would be no oversight of the other employees, so the lead cook/chef is likely as much an asshole as the owner and can run roughshod over everyone else without reprisals. The only people left working there would be those that simply must be employed and have nowhere else to go.

Sounds like your typical republican "businessman".
