Really. :wow:

At the actual head shop up one block and across the street, you can actually ask for a bong instead of a "water pipe". They also have a tattoo and piercing shop, so I think I just found the place where I'm going to get my first tat. :bounce:

Part of the reason the neighborhood is so cool is that it's the gay village, an international tourist and party destination here in Montreal. Many of the cops on the village beat are gay - the same cops that won't cart you off for asking for a bong. :P

And our new apartment is the bomb diggity: four flats in the building, we're in the topmost one - tons of space, windows, and natural light, and we have exclusive access to the roof patio. It's quiet, two block from a metro station, bus line across the street, little mom and pop stores all over the place, and of course all the fabulous club and party venues near the metro. In the summer, that street is closed to vehicular traffic, and the restaurants and nightlife are awesome.

Any questions? :D

4. Yeah, I don't know how much more of this I can take
:P

To be fair, the air is almost too cold to breathe right now, but it's kind of exhilarating in a nearly-polar sort of way. Besides, there's actual oxygen here.
