Venting: Having to buy tires at Walmart

This summer I had belt(s) rupture on a tire on a road trip on a Sunday morning. We have a full size van for my Aunts wheelchair. The Twin Cities exurb that I found myself in only had Walmart open then so I had to buy a tire there. One other tire had a very slow leak so when I got enough money together I went to the local Walmart to get the mate on that set of axles. Last night while leaving Cub my tire went flat probably from the extreme temperatures we have been having this year (aluminum rims). I called my son and he came out to fix the tire but the lug nuts were too tight (he does auto repair and he had a long enough wrench) meaning I need an impact wrench to break them loose. By then, the tire was coming off the rim so I had to move the car from that location to a parking spot so the tire is probably shot already.

My choices this morning $150 for a tow somewhere else or (groan) the Walmart next door. :banghead:

2. interesting thing about walmart tires.

They tend to sell cheaper tires made specifically for walmart.
So they may say goodyear(or whatever) but if you research the
tire wally world sold you , might find it is wally only with
a few listings of customer complaints. feel for ya
My car is currently wally world tire free.
