So, some creep sexually harassed my daughter (great ending though).
So my daughter (she's 16, 17 next month) comes home tonight and proceeds to tell me about her work weekend. She works in food service by the way. There's this creepy guy at her job (late 40's) who has apparently made little "comments" at other young girls before, but he always made them to the quiet types, the ones who "didn't want to get him in trouble". Well, today he made a comment to two girls in front of my daughter (they were 18 and 19) and THEN proceeded to squeeze my daughter in the butt. Well, she turned around screamed at him, "Don't you EVER touch me again!" and tried to deck him (someone held her back). The guys is now in the process of being fired. He picked on the wrong young woman this time. That's my girl! :D

1. You want me to head your way and punch him in the throat?
Glad your daughter stood up for herself in such a fashion.

Shame she didn't connect with that haymaker.

6. My daughter is not to be messed with.
She's the only girl in a house of boys, she's 5'9", and an athlete, two dads (and her mom's hardly a delicate flower either ;)). She said tonight, "If that guy comes near me again, I'll slice off his balls!"

11. Yeah, her luck though she break her other wrist.
She just had her 3rd surgery two months ago on her left wrist after breaking it skiing three years ago. She needed a big skillet or something. :)

13. Just make sure she punches with the first two knuckles, and that's it.
If you punch with any other part of the hand you can break stuff. But the bones from those first two knuckles form a nice straight line all the way down the arm that can absorb a lot of impact. :)

Her dad (my ex) is management for the same company in another division. Dumb ass. When he hears about this tomorrow, the shit is really going to hit the fan.

16. If it were legal to just tattoo "piece of shit" on his forehead
Others will know in his next job.

My daughter has to fend off dirty old men all the time. She's a CNA at a nursing home atm and tells me some stories. She got fired once for calling out a perv. Well, she quit after telling the boss to kiss her ass.

We done good! :P

8. Good for her, SarahBelle!
One time while working in fast food, my boss's boss was there. They were sitting at a table, and I brought their drinks over to him. Boss's boss grabbed my ass, and he got a large-sized drink dumped in his lap, all over his expensive suit!

Damn, that felt good!

Your daughter rocks, big time! Hopefully the two girls who witnessed this will feel stronger about what they can do...

We need a lot more outspoken, fearless women to take care of the troublemakers!

stuff, just because they don't want to frickin deal with it.

I would say that I hope he never works again, but in our lifetimes I would like to think the US could become a civilized social welfare state, and I would hate for anyone's taxes to subsidize this creep's existence. I just hope he never works for more than minimum wage again at a part time job that he hates full of mean, giant, molesty gay men who think he's just the cutest.

Creeps like that get away with stuff because their victims are too scared to stand up for themselves or tell someone. I'm glad your daughter fought back. :applause:

I'm glad the guy is getting fired. IMO, she should report it to the police. Some of these guys just think they can grab and do whatever to young women.

When I was about her age, my experience had a different outcome. It was a cop doing security work for a retail store where I worked. At the time, security didn't use cameras, they used viewing vents in small departmental stockrooms to watch for shoplifters. I went back to get stock and he ambushed me. When I tried to punch him, he got me in a bear hug and told me if I hit him he'd arrest me for assaulting an officer and if I told, they'd believe him over believing me. It took nearly 20 yrs before that POS got his. I read in the paper that he lost his job for exposing himself to a woman on an elevator who just happened to be another LEO in plain clothes.

One thing, make sure she watches out. Those types of morons like to retaliate. Make sure she is aware of her surroundings, and if she works late, make sure she has someone walk out of work with her.

You have a very smart and seemingly confident daughter. That's wonderful! I wish more girls would be like that but more importantly I wish more men would keep their comments and dirty paws to themselves. My daughter (just turned 19) has run into the same type of behaviour. I'm sure we all know some young woman who has had to deal with this, even if they didn't fight it.
