Whats for supper?
I am totally amazed at how freaking easy some things are to make. I've wanted this meal for ages, but just always connect it to a bad pressure cooker explosion event as a kid.

I have no clue why my mom was using pressure cooker anyhow...

chopped onion, diced carrot, salt, pepper, butter, water, liquid smoke (cause I didn't use "ham flavoring" packet), and a bag of split peas...

All tossed in the crock pot. Voila! done!

My first split pea soup in ages!

How about you? What's for supper?

Good call on nixing the "ham flavoring" packet. :scared:

5. Oven-fried chicken, salad, and I don't know what else.
I hardly ever make anything breaded, but it was my son's suggestion, and it made sense.

10. Spaghetti...
NOT from a jar! "Homemade"...as I do use canned tomato sauce, but the spices I throw in, so it tastes slightly different each time -- still good though...my hubby loves it!

12. Chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, with marinara sauce.
I didn't make it -- it was on the Fresh and Easy sale shelf. I baked it yesterday and it was yummy. Tonight are the leftovers.
