Oh joy: my day is looking up. I have to take my mother to the ER.

She was diagnosed with a sinus infection last week, but even with antibiotics shes getting worse and now has (Warning: do not read this) pus coming out of her eyes.

Meanwhile I hate everyone today and have been on the verge of throwing up for two days. And I have to go sit in the ER. With a hyperactive seven year old and a woman with pus coming out of her eyes.

I hate my life.

and when I was two blocks away she called to tell me she'd found her husband and he was on his way home to drive her in (he was MIA, probably at a girlfriend's house) so I didn't need to take her to the doctor after all.

I'm on steroids and antibiotics right now (for Migraines and ear infections respectively) and yet somehow I STILL seem to have another abscess developing right now and might need to have another surgery later this week to have it opened and removed. You would think that while I am taking antibiotics I couldn't develop one of these damned things. I can share your bad mood. x(

Someday some doctor will figure out why, and how to prevent them. I will then figure out how to have his/her baby as a way of saying thank you.

19. That's how I feel about all my mother's health drama.

I can't even say how grateful I'd be if there were some way to even get firm diagnoses on some of it. We still don't know why exactly she gets blood clots, and I'm real worried she'll get another since she's not moving around.
