Chuck E. Cheese TV stolen during setup
http://www.brookfieldnow.com/watch/?watch=14&date=1/12/2009&id=49372

An LCD television valued at $850 was taken from Chuck E. Cheese in the town of Brookfield - while the set was being installed.

According to a town of Brookfield police report:

A technician was installing the television at the restaurant, 19125 W. Bluemound Road, about 6:45 p.m. Dec. 29. While the technician was moving his ladder, a man entered the restaurant, took the 26-inch television, which was still in its box, and a wall-mounting kit valued at $150 and left the restaurant.

The technician said the man put the items in a waiting minivan and left.

1. Dude, I gotta hang out at the Chucky's some more
I need me a new wide screen. Also I could use a giant banjo playing bear robot.

<== Welcome to my living room.

6. So do I...
Hell, I'd settle for Dick Tracy's TV watch and a blow-up doll for my tuba.

2. Is Chuck E. Cheese a criminal magnet?
If it's not parents garroting each other over lost winnings tickets, it's outright theft

4. $850 for a 26" set? Methinks the article is discussing the wrong thief!
For 26", I wouldn't pay more than $400, and that's a big box brand price. (so it's less online)

I'm sure the wall mounting kit was worth $150.

I wonder if the tech told the man what to take and when; I mean, I don't go around aimlessly wandering to cheesy pizza stores in a vain hope that some bloke is setting up some overpriced gear to nick...

7. Inside job written all over it.
Maybe they can get it back, if only waterboarding were legal. Cheesy little 26 incher though, cheap MFs.
