Anybody remember the little plastic pencil boxes
that had the names of countries and states and their capitals on them? There were two different boxes, one for countries and one for states. You could turn couple of gears to display the name of either a country or a state in one small rectangular window, and its capital would appear in the other. It was a nifty little game to help kids learn their capitals; but I haven't seen them in years.

Anybody know where I can find them?

1. Search on eBay, and
save the search. One will turn up. I couldn't find one today, though. Should be cheap.

6. I can see where the countries could get tricky...
since there have been so many changes in the last 20 years. But I was thinking it'd be a fun way for my 10 year old to learn the state capitals.

26. I've only seen and used the last version of the Pee Chee.
Judging by the old school hair styles and the .10 cent price on the first two, I'm guessing they were produced years earlier than the 2 for .25 cent one.

7. That's a good idea too!
I always liked mine when I was a kid. Of course, we didn't have video games back then.

19. Absolutely. When I was in grade school I thought they were the greatest.
I wish I could remember if mine had a theme or not. It might have been "space" or the planets or something like that.

They were so cool. Mine had a little eraser.
