I forgot how much more laid back BC is

It's like my buddy said, when you cross the border there's a "ahhhhhh" feeling. I've been here just two days and the people are just fantastic. The bartender bought me lunch as a welcome present and everyone is so nice.

It's so much different than Alberta, there's more of a "Hey buddy!" attitude here. Where in ALberta people where very....... distant.

Plus this is the best part....guess who's riding I'm in? Stockwell Day's. I get to write editorials on him now!

It sucks though, the ridings have been shuffled and next election I won't have the chance to NOT vote for him.

But I just met an independent candidate today who seems very on the ball and may have a chance of winning - a serious chance. He says he's about 50 per cent Liberal, 25 per cent NDP and 25 per cent New Conservative....interesting mix.
