35. Not really. But I did blush every time he made a mistake in class. I'd go beet red
and feel like shit. I was that empathetic of him. And I grew up to be overly empathetic of others. So much so I couldn't function. Now I'm much less so. And I love it. I have a healthy amount of empathy and a healthy amount of ego. I really was completely selfless by my late teens.

13. Yes, actually; I did, when I was about five or six, because some kid told me not to.
It kind of hurt to pull my tongue away, but mostly I was really embarrassed.

15. Street skiing tragedy
In the winter time we used to hide out on the side of the street and wait for a car to pass by. We'd run out behind it, grab the rear bumper, squat, and get pulled by it for a mile or however long we wanted.

There was an apocryphal story about somebody or other's brother who did this when the temps were below zero and he wasn't wearing gloves. Back in those days most cars had chrome bumpers and his flesh stuck to the bumper. When he tried to let go his hands were still stuck and he wound up losing all the skin on both his hands. Those were exciting days!
