I went to the one in 2005 as a protest. I had just retired from the Air Force and also knew that I would meet up with other DUers.
I've been to two others before that one.
Since I moved back to Michigan from Virginia last year and due to lack of funds, I no longer have easy access to DC.
So I'm skipping the best reason to go to an inauguration during my lifetime.
To all of you going, do me a favor and have a drink in my name.
I'd really appreciated it.
