I've avoided all spoilers out there on the Internets but I think the end is going to be, to put it crudely, a mindfuck. It'll probably leave you saying "Huh? What?!".

With their glowing sex-spines and what not. I think they'd have to be wiped out (via biological weapon), leaving only humans. 'Cause I don't know anybody whose spine does that during sex nowadays. (Unless you believe those rumors about MrCoffee.)
