I'm in a "Star Trek" parody role-playing group, where all the characters are human-like animals. (With a couple exceptions.)
But we have a thread going, where we are thinking up aliens for the group, and we've got a little silly, naturally.
Here are some of them:
Like the 'Roomulan Empire. (As in 'Roos, kangaroos.)
How about the 'Fur-Ain'Gay'!... These evolved from rodent beings are the insessent 'fanboys' of all other furry species who are forever out to 'aquire' any peice of technology/ art/memorbilia/paraphenalia and sell it to the highest bidder while constantly in denial of their own sexuality!
But don't forget the Curdassians, bovines from the planet Larson on the Far Side of the galaxy.
If I was better at puns, I'd come up with something for the B'Jerboans, another group of rodents, whose priests have a fascination for Australian opera houses...
And don't forget the half-mythical "Dogminion," shape-changing canines with their genetically created soldiers, the Jackalope'Hadar.
We do have humans, in the group, but they are from Sirius, (you know, the dog star,) and the Klingoffs. (Planet of the Apes-type gorillas who have all the manners of a frat house.) :-)
Anyone else have any ideas?
