How do I know that? Because I'm in the process of creating a four-CD set of the Relic Record Shoppe Survey's "Best Vocal Group Recordings of 1956."

If you came of age in New York City during the Eisenhower years, I'll bet these CDs would bring tears to your eyes. The Flamingos, Heartbeats, Five Satins, Dells, Solitaires, Spaniels, Earl Lewis & The Channels, the Jaguars, Continentals, Harptones, Moonglows, Clovers, Cadillacs, Drifters, Five Keys Schoolboys, Del-Vikings, Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers.... Some of the best music ever recorded, IMHO!
