the cat just ate a pinto bean (cooked)
clawed my leg for (I thought) a piece of pork chop, but I gave her a bean instead - she ate it and stopped begging. :wtf:

1. I have a cat who eats feta cheese
Used to have one who ate cheese doodles and another who ate canteloupe.

Weird little beasties...

4. she also likes corn chips
and goes nuts for green grass but one pinto bean seemed to satisfy her tonight. I bet she would like cheese doodles too (those are like cheetos, right?) because she loves corn - hard to keep her out of the dog food but I have to, she pukes it up.

11. We had a little fuzzy who liked potato chips
The sound was hilarious, though we obviously didn't encourage Puss to eat a lot of them. ;)

2. That's how I learned my cat loved canned asparagus
many moons ago. Not this cat, although on the rare occasions I eat canned asparagus I do give him a bit and he does seem to enjoy it.

So,like, you know how cats go crazy when they hear you opening a can? of anything? Well, this long-ago cat was going batshit around my feet about this can of asparagus and so I gave him some, kind of as a joke, buthe gobbled it up like it was the best thing in the world and he wanted more. And no, he wasn't starving for food, he'd get his canned spoonful daily and always have a little dry food in his dish.

I do not recall my cat ever showing an interest in a pinto bean, although I do eat alot of them at times. I never, however have had a pork chop cooking with it.

Another thing my cat likes, but not like goes crazy over it or anything, is a few canned green beans.

They just need a little variety in their diet, not so much as a dog, though.

3. My cat LOVED chocolate doughnuts
She'd tear into a bag of groceries and rip open the package to get her some of that.

Little freak. :P

8. Ever feed a cat raw garlic?
I remember this incident years ago when my mom was preparing a roast for dinner, and peeling garlic. One of the cloves fell on the floor, and the cat ate it. And about 10 seconds later her eyes looked like this ------> and she was drooling. Poor kitteh!

Think she avoided garlic like a vampire after that though.

13. Yogi LOVES pinto beans.
He loves the beans and he loves to drink the pinto bean soup. He'll pass a piece of meat over for a bean. He's such a sweet little boy.
