I had another eye surgery today (warning, large pic
First of all, I want to apologize for the size of this picture. I keep trying to resize it, but it just won't take.

I had what I sincerely hope is my last eye surgery today. In case you don't remember the saga, after having cataract surgery one both eyes, I ended up with retinal tears in my left eye requiring Lazar surgery (arc welding) Then the retina detached anyway, so I got a scleral buckle put on that eye (another surgery, this time requiring general anesthesia and stitches), when that was almost healed, the Retina detached again for another reason which required (you guessed it) another surgery. That last surgery required putting a special silicon oil in place of the vitreous which stayed in for four months.
I got a special contact for tat eye as the surgeries have caused some astigmatism, but still have to use reading glasses. Anyway, seeing through the oil is problematic as it is like looking through italian dressing (Newman's Own Italian Dressing ( I refuse to look through Chinese dressing LOL)

So, today I got the oil out (I was about a quart low anyway) and when it heals up I should be back to normal ... well, not normal in the "normal sense of that word, but don't you think normal is overrated anyway?

The doctor says that if there are any more problems that I will have to go round again and the oil will stay in a whole year!

This has slowed down my graduate work considerably.

1. I hope it goes well :)
and that isn't a large pic at all. Your resize is fine. (maybe too small? but I'm picky..)

Here's hoping this last thing did the trick!

Mark.

Well, at least larger than I intended for it to be. I like pics where you can see the whole thing w/out having to scroll.

8. Thanks
I am muddling through, but have had to take some "Incompletes" which are taking a while to get through. My professors have been generally very supportive, so there's that. I should get my MA this December.
