Food Network in Nashville.

I happened to catch $40 A Day on Food Network a few minutes ago. Missed the first part but she went to dinner at F Scott's (good choice), which is in the suburbs. Then she wanted to go back downtown where all the touristy stuff is. She said she wanted to know where the locals go as far as a good drink around there and started asking people and ended up at Tootsie's. Mr. TNDemo and I kept looking at each other and wondering what locals hung out around the tourist traps? We have lived here 25 years and have yet to meet one person who has been to Tootsie's or any of those places. I think if they want to find out where the locals hang out, they need to get away from neon lighted country music traps. Of course, maybe there are some locals who hang out there and I just don't know it.

didn't take the Tootsie's recommendation . . . haven't been to Nashville in a long time, but always liked the Station . . .
