:P

When it gets to the point where you don't care whether they give you the temps in Celsius or Fahrenheit, ya know it's cold.

Right now, though, it's warm enough to snow, and we're expecting a 25-30 degree F rise in temps over the next couple of days.

I'm gonna go throw another log on the fire. :)

How's everyone else doing?

1. THAT's cold!
Edited on Sat Jan-17-09 10:01 AM by Heidi
I hate winter, so I always keep my laptop and iPhone weather widgets set to Fahrenheit. It just seems warmer that way. :P

Luv to you and the kitty horde! :loveya:

2. Heidi!
:loveya:

I keep the Fahrenheit thing going too, because the s.o. doesn't know from Celsius. :D

Compared to the epic amounts of snow Montreal got last winter before we moved here, this winter has been pretty mild. The car starts without arguing too much (it's parked outside, but not on the street), and once I'm in the metro, I don't have to surface until I'm at work - or 4 blocks from home, depending on the direction.

The hordes love it - they sit on window sills and watch the white stuff fall from the sky.

Please say hi to CMW and TWAEBCN Ginger for me. :loveya:

3. When I got up this morning, it was 15 above. Above!!! I could honestly
tell the difference in the house, and it felt great when I went outside. The beagle could, too. She spent about 1/2 hour playing in the snow, as opposed to peeing on the top step and then barking to come in.

It's downright balmy out there!!

4. Something to look forward to
Snow has been falling since 8 this morning, in tiny bitty flakes, and no wind to speak of. It's already 7°F, and it's supposed to hit 20° by Monday. :)

5. 25 isn't cold at all..
now, if it is 25 with a 30mph wind, then it is balls ass cold. The wind is worse than the actual temperature. Fucking Kansas.

6. Wind is a factor
I have this mutant skin structure that's hypersentitive to air circulation. I can be in short sleeves and shorts in freezing temperatures with no wind, and I can freeze my ass off in 100 degrees if there's a breeze. It's weird.
