10. Damn! I didn't realize there was a meetup :-(

I drove all the way here from Austin, Texas. The only hotel I was able to find is in Baltimore though. Great city, just not easy to get to DC because the train tickets are all taken already.

17. It wasn't really planned as much as it just happened

I've know evl for a few plus years now. After Obama won, we invited him and a few friends out here. evl and Peggy were talking and my husband and I ended up inviting Peggy. Until a couple of days ago we thought liberaltrucker was going to be able to drop by. So, it just sort of happened and has grown and shrunk over the past few weeks depending on people's schedules. fwiw, most of the people will be here until Thursday if you want to drop by on your way back, we'll be here. Just PM me.
