1. I agree!!! And, I have no idea what that means!!!
:bounce:

Just truly got on FB yesterday and already I've gotten divorced and been hunted by the mafia. I'm not sure about this thing.

4. Yeppers. I'll send you a request.
Actually, other than a couple of bunco friends, DUers ARE my facebook.

I get requests all the time from classmates.com, reunion.com, etc., but most of my high school class doesn't know either where I live, or my married name.

My college friends are probably too computer illiterate to do FB. Like me.

i have few friends on facebook that i went to school with. i started homeschooling hte 8th grade and have only kept in touch with a few folks from school. other than my actual friends, i couldn't care less about being friendly with people my age around here.. no common interests at all.

i'm not good at small town life :P

Edited on Mon Jan-19-09 12:17 AM by Ava
i have an old kodak too and some 8mm film i haven't used yet.

i started editing my documentary footage this week and i have two different projects i'm working on this summer. tests and applications have dominated my time lately, but now i actually have some free time to be creative with.

i only have three vids on vimeo so far - http://vimeo.com/avalowery/videos

edit: it's actually four. i forgot that i recently added a new one.

9. My New Year's "resolution" is to save for a Panasonic HVX200.
A Super 8 would be fun to play around with too, though I can imagine processing and whatnot can be pricey.

I added you on Vimeo, haha.

10. a cheap way of processing is just to project it and video the projection
it'd take awhile to set up just right, but i'm sure it could be done. projectors are affordable. there's also several places that transfer 8mm film to dvds. i'd be a bit scared to trust my film to someone else though.

i have a canon XH-A1 and love it

11. Seems like a nice camera.
Way cheaper than the Panasonic. Miiiight have to look into it. Have any footage shot in high def at 24 fps? I'd love to compare the footage to the HVX.
