Why didn't anyone tell me about Carl Hiaasen?
"Sick Puppy" is kicking my ass. Got any others the Lounge should know about?

1. Sick Puppy is the best of the best. I love his works.
Also try Tourist Season, Double Whammy, Lucky You, Native Toungue--eh, just try them all. He's got his pulse on why everything about Florida is both great and horrible at the very same time.

Also, try his send up of Disney--Team Rodent.

4. I read a couple of his books and laughed out loud more than I care to admit
Funny stuff, like
Elmore Leonard meets cheech and chong...

5. I gave my 79 year old Mom Sick Puppy to read.
She loved it. I've given her a couple of other Hiaasen novels as well and she's liked them pretty well too. I strongly suggest Skinny Dip as a good one, and Native Tongue is also a fun read.

Hiaasen rocks.

7. Only ALL of his books!!
But don't eat a big meal before reading.

You'll be laughing so hard, you will be in danger of losing it.

9. I won't spoil any fun
but there are still things I remember from his books that can make me laugh.
