does alerting more than once get a post locked any faster?

or how they appear. In any case, it got zapped shortly after I posted this, which was right after my alert on it. Some nut ought to get a little visit from the Secret Service.

Seriously, though - just alert once. Don't flood the mods with alerts. They might not get to it immediately, but they will get to it.

And if you flood them, they just might put you on time out for a while.
