What happened to Andy Griffen's wife?
I never really thought about it...

I hadn't watched the show much due to its representation of city life. Mayberry is over the hill from here.

Anyone know off hand?

1. I thought he was a widower
I can't remember if they ever talked about it, but that info had to come from somewhere.

Here's the wiki on it:

5. You're welcome
:)

My first thought with "Andy Griffen" was the parody Rick Moranis did on SCTV of the "Merv Griffith Show"

6. What happened to the original spouses of 'The Brady Bunch' couple?
Never saw the kids getting visits from the non custodial spouse so I assume they were dead. It was never discussed.

one of the characters mentions that his son Gilligan was lost on the Minnow with Carol's first husband, the Professor.

Get the answer below

Answer
Ken, the show was called "Salvage 1", which ran on the ABC Television Network from January, 1979 thru August, 1979... a few episodes were shown in November of that same year...

Mr. Griffith played Harry Broderick,a junkman specializing in the spectacular... you see, Harry owns a Vulture rocket, which he uses to salvage exotic junk from outer space...

His partners in this venture are Skip Carmichael, who was a former member of NASA, played by Joel Higgins, and Melanie Slozar, played by Trish Stewart...

Hope this answers your query !!!

Thanks for a Great Question !!!
Take Care,
Mike

27. Helen was sick and tired of living in a small town...
She forced Andy to move away from his beloved Mayberry on the threat of no more Blow Jobs on the 12th of each month...

Now he became what you would call a posal police officer based out of Cleveland, Ohio...

Helen got her wish, I guess, lulled by the bright lights of the big city...

She did come back to Mayberry with Andy but that whole mess of having to run for sheriff against his cousin Barney just took the wind out of their sales...

And that's what heppened to Andy Griffiths second wife...

His first wife, died...
