Lived it up...had great fun.

GREAT company, fantastic times.

We had a room, with a view that was indescribable.

Here's the thing...we got a room that was OK, big, but with a shitty view. Well, the toilet broke.

I called down to the front desk.

I told them that I wasn't paying $300 a night for a room with a broken toilet.

They moved us to a top floor suite, next to the hotel owner's suite.

OMG!

I can't even explain the view...I'm not easily impressed....but holy shit.

What a time.

Balcony, beer, wine, weed, and a corner store across the street.

11. My elder daughter ended up there (for now)

She was in school in L.A., but graduated from another college in NYC and got a miserable tiny apartment on E. 30th street in Manhattan, a job with low pay with a company that is in financial peril, and she wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world.

My grandparents used to live there, and I can understand completely.

NYC is not for everyone, but there is no other place like it.
