3. What's that you say, a Firefox add-on? I've only ever used web-based tools.
You send the url of the flash or flv or whatever embed and they email it back to you.

What's the name of the Firefox add on?

6. Ubuntu has this cool U-tube Ripper.
Will convert for you to mp4 or avi.

Just feed it the Youtube (or other flash video page) and it'll do the rest.
