Thank god for iPod and Wii.
TRIPLE:sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:
Our visit with our daughter and family has sure had its enjoyable moments.
This isn't one of them.

She and our son-in-law gave each other iPods for Christmas.
Our grandson got Wii.

So here we are, almost a month after Christmas, and the parents spend a lot of time on the couch with their iPods.
Now, only my daughter is playing with her iPod because...
daddy and son are playing a Lego Star Wars game on Wii.
And arguing about the play.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?"
"BECAUSE...(something, something, something."

So, in self defense, I pulled out my laptop and here I am.
:-(
Miz t. is thumbing through a magazine.
"Family togetherness"
:sarcasm:

For this I traveled 1500 miles to ice, snow, and sub-freezing temperatures from my comfy gulf coast abode?
:-(

1. If they bought extra controllers, the whole family could play at the same time
:(

3. I have no desire to play.
I came to see my family.
To be with them, and talk, and enjoy their company.
It's fine for them to do this.
It just doesn't interest me.
They have roughly 320 days a year to enjoy their electronic gadgets when we're not together.
I don't think I'm being unreasonable.
They racing cows now.

6. They just switch positions.
Now dad is on the couch with the iPod.
Mom and son are playing a Wii game.
Miz t. is playing patty-cake with our 18 month old granddaughter on her lap.
I think that game is more my speed.
