Is anyone else going to watch "Mad, Mad House" on the Sci-Fi channel...
tonight?

This is a reality show where a group of people...a voodoo priestess, a vampire, a naturist, a witch and others....share a house for a month.

I'm not really that into reality shows...but this one looks different, to say the least. I'm going to tune in.

:-)

1. I'l probably watch it if I remember.
Although, anyone that calls themselves a "vampire" just needs a good ass-kickin'.

"I'm a VAMPIRE! See? I'm pale and dressed in black. Bluah bluah!"

of the 'alternate' lifestyles.

Although I'm a big fan of the gothic chick look.

4. Vampires are fun to hang out with at times...as long as
you have something that freaks them out or puts you in the "dark" group. They tend to respect magicians/witches/warlocks/etc, as long as you weren't from a "light and happiness" school.

9. You know all about this stuff, Keph.
What criteria does one have to meet to call ones self a "vampire"? Aside from actually being undead, of course. I mean, *I* used to play Masquerade (even the live action game), but we never thought we were real vampires; just a bunch of dorks having some fun.

14. If people call themselves vampires and are involved in
some sort of serious "bloodsports", usually of a sexual nature, then I'll let them call themselves "vampires".

BTW, ex-Masquarade LARP ref here.

6. No way in hell...
Honestly, SciFi Channel is really starting to insult our intelligence.

7. Starting?!
You mean the channel that brought us Crossing Over? Sorry, you want a channel that shows respect to its real fan base go watch Cartoon Network. SciFi channel is just a marketting firm in search of a trend.

11. NO!
No more reality shows... EVER! Argh! I've had enough.

The SciFi channel should live up to its name Science Fiction. No more John Edward, no Mad House, no Scare Tactics... just FICTION not "reality".

Whew... I feel better now.

12. Wow. This is one of the few times we disagree. But may I offer proof...
Of your detestation of reality shows on the whole? Which I DO agree with.

Fox is going to be offering a reality show where a straight woman chooses among 14 guys...some of the guys are straight, some are gay.

Now, where have we seen a similar show like that before??

:-)

I thought that "Mad Mad House" looks kind of interesting.

13. Is that what that is?
For the last month I've had to look at a billboard for that show from my deck.
