Stupid California motherfuckers need to learn to drive in the rain!
Or in this case, the slightly damp road that got drizzled on several hours previously. :eyes:

I'm okay. The car's okay. Thank Me at least I know how to drive, 'cause if I had to rely on these stupid assholes to show some sign of competence my car'd be on the back of a tow truck by now.

1. Sounds like Southern Cal Syndrome.
Moisture in the air = dead standstill on freeways.

Where are you in Cali, and why are you posting to DU while driving? ;)

Well that and their two kids under ten really need the room an eight passenger vehicle can provide. :eyes:

16. If it snowed here our roads would be post apocolyptic.
Like whatever chimps is calling herself now said, it's bad enough that all these crazy people charge straight up the mountain to sit in traffic every time it snows, like there won't be any left to ski on if they wait a day. Then again, a friend's husband is a tow truck driver, and he puts food on the table pulling brand new Ford Death Stars out of embankments every weekend, because apparently these idiots think that 4WD makes it okay to drive 80 mph up a windy four lane highway in fresh snow and heavy traffic.

These days where it's not really raining and the roads are really slick from all the churned up grease are the worst.

And the 'rents are both from the Bay Area, so they can't even drive when the weather cooperates. Now that they're old that is some seriously scary shit.
