LOST: best TV since X-FILES or ?

1. Not, tried to get into to it... but just didn't happen for me

At least LOST has an endgame; the X-Files went on a bit too long.

3. I think LOST would have done better as an HBO or SHO series

so they didn't have to have all the ridiculous redundancy after breaks. It's too complex to take in 10 minute segments.

And even the DVD version isn't good enough, because it's geared toward commercial TV and is just way toooooooo redunnnnnnnndant.

But I watch it anyway.

5. hummm... x-files sucked. lost sucks... it's a toss up, but lost has more seasons....

so my vote goes to lost sucking longer than x-files.

9. I prefer the bigger cast, even though I know it cuts into episode count

It's gotta be one of the most expensive shows ever, but it's worth it; I'm hooked. X-Files had some good & some lesser episodes, but you didn't have to catch every single one to know what's going on. With Lost you can't afford to miss a second, much less a whole ep.

10. It's never great the first episode back after a long wait

There's too much info they can't cram into one show. I love the anticipation and having my head all fucked up over it. I love that show. It's genius.
