I really like the books, we are rereading the latest one at my house and we have read through all of them with my son. The characters are a lot of fun. And kids read them over and over, that is hard to argue with. But you are right that is one large book... which raises the question, do the Harry Potter books have more pages than Proust's Remembrance of Things Past?
