I have heard that local musicians will gather and play in pubs for fun and I would hope some of the music is like that. Could use some of that Irish drum though I think... I love love love it. :)

I have heard that that is how it is in many pubs. I go to the Irish Festivals here every year, and have heard some great bands.

6. Sharon Shannon!

I saw her twice, once with the Waterboys when they toured in support of "Room to Roam", and with her own band at an Irish festival at Stonehill College.

My grandfather, who grew up on the Bearea peninsula in West Cork, played the accordion, so hearing this always makes me feel good.
