Mariana Bridi, the model from Brazil (her hands and feel amputated in a desperate attempt to save her life), died. She was only 20 and wanted to give her family a chance to crawl out of poverty.

It began as a simple urinary tract infection. And she was only 20 years old.

I can't stop thinking about it.

1. It is amazing how quickly something like that can just

take someone down. :(

I hope, because she was such a rising, beautiful model, that she has left something to help her family rise out of poverty. Or perhaps she has some friends who will help her family as a last gift to her.

It's even more tragic when this happens to people who have nothing, and then they are left with far less. :(
