Mine?

Oh, how about, I accidentally yanked the whole cuticle from my right middle finger, spent the next 15 minutes dabbing the blood onto the corner of a paper towel, scanned the towel, uploaded it to photobucket, and linked it here...

How bored are you? :hi:

PS: The picture doesn't do justice...

:P

Ouch!
I hope you didn't do that on purpose... ;)

Mind-numbingly bored to me is where not even The Lounge holds my interest :o

6. No, not on purpose
I should have reached for the nail clippers, but...

I didn't think it would take that long to stanch the flow.

Who knew?

3. That sounds like pain, not boredom.
Boredom is waiting for a linux kernel compile on a woefully underpowered machine.

Mark.

12. Ever tried converting 3,000 lines of Python to Java in Eclipse?
While the compiler tries to tell you, how screwed up your python code looks as Java code?

Try 30 seconds between keystrokes.

18. I remember seeing those in the Valley
as a young boy, I remember the dust clouds coming over, turning into mud rains, before the real rains began.

I've never seen them on film before, but I remember seeing them in real life.

I dind't realize they happened that far north too!

13. My definition of "bored out of one's mind" is that one has an uncreative and unevolved mind.
I do firmly believe that anyone who is "bored" lacks sufficient creativity, differentiation, or suffers some other malady.

Evolved adult human beings should never be bored.

Individual situations in which we find ourselves might be boring, of course - that which does not interest us can indeed be "boring". But an evolved mind finds a way to become unbored in those situations, instead of succumbing to the boredom as though one were a brainless victim to whom the world owes constant non-boring stimulation.

Pfagh on that, I say.

19. Precisely! You said, "I'm bored", and instead of becoming a victim,
you found something else to occupy your mind.

Absolutely right.

23. That's frustrating
sometimes, replies to my OPs become whole deleted threads before I get a chance to read them.

I always feel cheated... :P
