"Prayers for Bobby".

Based on a true story, and the mother became an advocate for gay rights.

It is just fuckin' so sad that it takes a tragedy for people to accept. I'll say no more.

2. I saw the previews for that.
I didn't think I could watch it - looks too heart-wrenching.

4. I turned it on late and I've already cried. What a sad movie ...
it's also tearing me apart because my sister committed suicide. Although it was for different reasons I feel so guilty that I didn't do enough to help.

5. I'm so sorry. About your sister. Don't watch the movie.
There are certain movies that I will not watch. For personal reasons.

9. Not that far from me!
You don't have to watch stuff that hurts you or causes you trauma. Don't do it. It's not necessary.

I don't watch shit that in any way simulates the way my son died. Nor do I make any apologies about it.

Just don't do it. Seriously, just don't. It's really not necessary.

11. It's on again Sunday night at 7:00 here. And more if I could figure out the damned remote buttons.
Ironically, it was my mother who asked me to watch this movie.

13. If any other cable channel
had this show, I would have recorded it... 90% of the time, Lifetime's shows are so vapid and lame I never bother looking - I actually want to see this movie but it will not be on till Sunday when 2 shows I have pre-recorded will be on -

I will get this movie recorded and watch it because I have read the reviews and I think it will be great - I just wish the programming on Lifetime was not such total crap most of the time... i.e.: Ask Jessie The Trainer Anything! Are You An Emotional Eater? Diet-Tribe! Who Should Jennifer Love Hewitt Date? Dare To Wear! ---- The rest of the time Lifetime's menu is paid programming and more stuff about dieting to keep your man happy.

I think "Prayers For Bobby" is probably one of the best things this cable channel has going for it - too bad they are killing it with the rest of their programming.
