If we were to say she needs to quit eating burgers, it would be wrong. She may be naturally thin for all we know and probably eats healthy and works out. It is so easy to criticize a skinny gal. Some may prefer a more voluptuous gal, but jeez...

I think she is beautiful. I didn't watch the pageant, so I don't know if she would have been my pick, but she looks just fine to me. I do think the swimsuit contest is bogus, but whatever. It is what it is.

27. In general, I think that's a thought-provoking question. In the case of a pageant,

however, I think it's safe to assume that she has exactly the shape and appearance that she wants, and that's the image she wishes to convey. When that image is validated by a pageant win, I think it's fair to snark a bit if you don't like her choice of presentation. After all, it's not like commenting on a random person on the street - she clearly wants to be looked at, commented on, and assessed for apperance.

(That said, I don't see anything wrong with her appearance. Overly-crunched abs aren't my favorite, but she doesn't look unhealthy...)
