Ready, set, garden!

I just put in my onion sets. They went into a bed I'd prepared in the fall and mulched. The ground underneath was still frozen. For me, this is the official start of spring.

I won't be able to put anything in the ground until April at the earliest, here in Upstate NY. Our bulbs are coming up already though, thanks to the spate of mild weather. Gonna start some plants from seed, soon, too.

I love the beginning of gardening season!
