3. I've got two potatoes baking in the oven.
Maybe I'll have both of 'em. Maybe I'll have one and boca chik'n nuggets, and stick the other in the fridge 'til tomorrow. Plenty of time to decide.

9. I like the chicken, actually better than the burgers, in terms of

closeness to meat. My two favorite fake meats, though, are Morningstar Corn dogs and these fake riblets. I can't remember who makes the ribs, but I'm pretty sure it isn't Boca.

My SDA friends, who have been living on fake meats their whole lives, really like the faux cold cuts--pastrami and whatnot. They're okay, but those ribs are great!! My only complaint about the ribs is that they come already in a kind of spicy sauce. I wish you could just buy the ribs and add your own sauce. I prefer a sweet BBQ sauce. That, and the only place to get 'em here is WalMart. :(

But, yeah, the chick'n nuggets are good. I did have those, one of the potatoes with broccoli and garlic dipping oil on it, and a little bowl of cinnamon apple sauce. Good eatin'.

13. Hrmm I'll have to check those out
I'm not a vegetarian or anything but I'm trying to start develop some healthier eating habits for when I graduate college and am on my own. I cooked for myself when I lived alone this summer and I wound up making a lot of chicken which was good but I often got tired of it. I think maybe I'll end up rotating chicken/fake meat and then once a week I'll treat myself to some lean red meat or something else a bit less healthy.

16. Fake meats are healthier in terms of total calories and fat, and fiber.
Meat has no fiber, soy has quite a bit.

The other thing to consider is that cutting back on meat is healthy for the planet. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says switching to a plant-based diet is the best thing an individual can do to slow climate change. Cutting back on meat to any degree is to be commended!

Any change toward healthier eating is a good thing! Thanks for making this effort! Good luck with your healthy diet!
