your username is your brand identity
Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 06:44 PM by datasuspect
and people will know who you formerly were anyway.

what were your reasons for destroying the mythologies other people might have ascribed to your old username?

actually, i'm quite shocked at some of the people who changed their names. i don't feel the same joy i used to feel when i see them post.

4. Sometimes people just feel like a change
I think it's more interesting how many people have had reactions to the change(s) of user names.

Maybe it's because I had so much change in my life, over the years, I don't know... but it doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

And I'm ISO a new brand identity anyway. :D Haven't come up with a new one yet; I'm thinking "Liberal Treehugger" or some such.

:( I was getting used to all the 'old' names, some of which were fairly new to begin with.

now that Bush is gone, I no longer feel like I am with out a Country.

28. Brand identity indeed. I wanted something compact & meaningful (to me)
I had my old username for 6 years. It was based on things that are irrelevant now.
I hope that annoying red text will disappear eventually.
