Oh man, I just finished this game called Hotel Dusk for the DS...

I think I'm gonna cry...what an incredibly well written story. :cry: It has perhaps the best characterization I've ever seen in a game...or will see again. If you have a DS...get it. Seriously. Just get it. You can find it cheap, and it's totally worth it.
There's a scene at one point that involves decorating a Christmas tree that is so touching you'd have to be a stone-hearted Ogre to not be moved by it.
It was like reading a really good novel where you come to really become invested in the characters and care about what happens to them. It's that good.

Just kidding. What kind of a game is it? I have a DS but hardly ever use the thing (I have Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 3 for it, and that's it).

3. It's a puzzle/point-and-click type game.

It's very heavy on dialogue, and you have to be careful during conversations, since certain dialogue choices will lead straight to a game over.
There's also a lot of exploration and problem solving involved. It requires thought. So if that's your thing, you'll enjoy it.

Might I also recommend Final Fantasy 4 for the DS? :)

Might have to pick it up...of course, that will require me finding my DS first.

but then I saw it cheap at Circuit City and decided to finally get it. It's well worth it. :)
