I started it at around 9:30 AM - it smells really good. Mmmmmmmm. :)

easiest thing in the world to make.

I had a Honey Baked Ham for the Inaugural Party I had here and so I had a nice ham bone to use. My recipe is chicken broth, celery, carrot, onion, garlic a few dashes of tabasco, a couple of bay leaves, the ham bone and about a cup of chopped ham and 2 bags of dried split peas - all put together in the crock pot on high - then, when it finally comes to a boil turn to low.

I am not kidding it is so easy that anyone can do this.

Crock pots are pretty cheap and a wonderful way to cook. Mmmmmmm!
