Guess why my darling daughter is so happy to be holding this 'item'
If I get five good guesses, I'll post the answer with a pic:D
Hints:
Our family and a few friends were at the local park last summer.
She didn't need it for the intended purpose, and neither did anyone else.
It was used.
Why?

I wonder if I should send this link to her..
She's threatened to put me in a home more than once...:scared:

The lounge has turned me into a sicko. I was never like this before....

peace~

So now that I know what it is...how would that solve the problem:shrug:
We didn't have one...and I would just call it a bug repellant....

Good guess? Good guess:-)
Thanks!

11. Very cool...
I hate to admit that I had to google again...I'm learning great stuff here! Who would have known the loungers would be a bunch of intellects! (or perhaps I'm not too smart) This was a cool writing from one of the sites dedicated to Ed Abbey...I hate it when little kids know more than me!:o

"FAMOUS STAR EDWARD ABBEY
Edward Abbey is a writer. He writes about how to blowup dams. The name of one of the books he wrote was called Monkey wrench gang. He wears a black hat with a wrench on it. Ed has a gray elephant beard and he's a tall, skinny man. Ed does not like the highway so he throws beer bottles out the window. Ed does not like t.v. so the took his t.v. outside and took his gun and shot his t.v. and now it's a sculpture in his backyard."
-- grade-school composition by Brady Barnes

I spent a bit of time reading about him...thank you for the knowledge...

Dynamite guess! :hi:

14. How to Overthrow the System- quote by Abbey
How to Overthrow the System: brew your own beer; kick in your Tee Vee; build your own cabin and piss off the front porch whenever you bloody well feel like it.

I love his quotes and writings

"Anarchism is founded on the observation that since few men are wise enough to rule themselves, even fewer are wise enough to rule others."

17. He was quite the rebel...
I read some of his quotes, and thought the kiddie piece was funny. I couldn't stay on the site long, but have it bookmarked...I'm intrigued by this type of mindset along with the gift of the pen. With more links and other sites...I imagine I'll know quite a bit about him and his work by day's end...

NightWatcher and Abbey...
Out of the blue...never expected this path with such an inane post.
Very cool...thank you.
