Sniffa's home made chocolate-banana-granola mix
So over the last few weeks I've changed my eating habits; I used to eat just one big (or two) meals a day and have nothing else save for coffee, water or booze. Now I'm eating 2 meals and eating small snacks every two hours or so in an attempt to get my body's metabolism going all day and see what it does to my pot belly and my energy level. My snacks are typically a few crackers and cheese/peanut butter, rice cake snacks, or some sort of trail mix.

Today I decided to buy all the ingredients to make my own trail mix to be different and most likely save money.

Here are the items I mixed together (in a bowl that was just barely big enough to hold it all - made mixing it up difficult):

Banana chips
Chocolate granola
Chocolate chips
Peanut butter chips
Salted soy nut halves
Mini-sesame sticks

Here's the result:

and my first package for the work van:

It came out great. I was hoping it would be edible so I'm happy. As I was putting it together I worried that the saltiness of the soy nuts would ruin it, it actually complimented the sweetness of the chocolate and PB chips.

I had 2 handfuls for my snack and I'm pretty full. :9

I'm shocked how filling it is though. That's a plus.

3. I think the addition of salted sesame sticks is genius.
Excellent play on sweet/salty, and anything with banana & chocolate together has to be good. Plus, I just freaking LOVE sesame sticks.

I'm so going to copy that recipe.

6. Thank you
I feel good knowing you like it. :D

I'm sure there are different things that can be added/replaced so let me know if you update it.

4. Looks healthy. I bet if you eat a ton of it you'll be thin as a rail.
