7. I've seen this before...

Some time ago a friend of mine was working on an Alan Parker film called The Commitments. It's about some blue collar Irish kids who start an R&B band. My friend was so completely out of his mind over the music in the film, he vowed to run out and buy the soundtrack for all his friends as soon as it was available. Strangely, it took a bunch of light-weight white kids to awaken him to music that's been around for years. Of course I asked him, "Dude why don't you just go get the real deal?". He looked at me like cows at a passing train.
