Anybody got a good toothache remedy?
I am in serious shit since last night....extreme, excruciating pain from a chipped tooth / cavity. So far I've tried beer, aspirin, advil, orajel, garlic, ginger, salt water, baking soda and water. Nothing seems to help at all. I won't be able to get to a dentist until next week! :(

2. Oil of Cloves.
Get some at the local pharmacy and rub it on the affected tooth.

Instant relief.

8. Clove Oil worked the best so far
i just picked some up at the store. The whole side of my mouth is numb and buzzing, cause it's hard to get that stuff back to the very back without getting it all over the rest of your mouth, heh.

5. Be very, very careful with that--if you notice ANY swelling at all, go to the ER if you have to.
Swelling indicates an absessed tooth, which (aside from being hideously painful), can spread if untreated and become life-threatening very quickly.

I had a frighteningly close call with one of those a few years ago, and learned they're nothing to take lightly.

I hope you get some relief.

6. Apply heat to your cheek.
I had a toothache from hell a while back, and I kept a heating pad on my cheek. I also saw an ad on TV for some kind of paste you can use to fill in a lost filling. Sorry, I don't remember the name, but the drug store should carry it.

You have my sympathies. That is miserable. Take care.
